What is Ginger CO2-se Extract?

Ginger CO2-se Extract is a warm, spicy oil with which you give your DIY care products a beneficial, activating scent.

Ginger CO2 Extract is obtained by applying CO2 extraction to the roots of the ginger plant. The concentration of a CO2 Extract is higher than that of Ginger Essential Oil, making it extra important to use the extract highly diluted.

How do you use it?

Ginger CO2-se extract has a higher concentration than Ginger Essential Oil, so it is important to use the extract very diluted. Do not let more than 1% of the ingredients of your DIY product consist of this extract. That means 1/2 to 1 drop per 5 ml.

What is so special about it?

Unlike Ginger Essential Oil, Ginger CO2-se Extract contains gingerols, gingeron and shogaol phenols, the compounds responsible for ginger's pungent smell. This ensures that the aroma of the extract is much closer to the scent of fresh ginger and better transfers the activating properties of the scent to your DIY care products.
