How to use Citric Acid Monohydrate?

As a cleaning agent

Citric acid kills bacteria and fungi, making it excellent for cleaning and disinfecting all kinds of things. It also works effectively in removing soap scum, hard water stains, limescale, limescale, and rust.

As a preservative

Citric acid is a natural antioxidant that can often be found in soaps, conditioners, shampoos and skin and hair care products. This is often combined with potassium sorbate. Together they form a powerful preservative.

As a pH regulator

Citric acid is widely used to adjust the pH (acidity) of a formulation. The pH scale ranges from 0 to 14. A pH of less than 7 is acidic, a pH of 7 is neutral, and a pH higher than 7 is alkaline. By adjusting the acidity, unwanted bacteria in various products can be avoided.
