What is Blue Tansy Essential Oil?

Blue Tansy Essential Oil is extracted from the flowers of the Tanacetum annuum by steam distillation. The collected flowers are placed in a distillation vessel, through which steam is passed. The steam helps to release and extract the volatile aromatic compounds in the flowers. This steam carries the aromatic molecules and is then passed through a cooling system, where it condenses and turns into an aqueous liquid that contains both water and essential oil. Then the wonderfully scented oil is collected, filtered and packaged!

Mix a maximum of 5% Blue Tansy with a carrier oil, such as Jojoba oil. Add this to a perfume roller and use as a spot treatment on pimples and impurities. Please note: this dosage can only be used as a spot treatment, so not over the entire face.

Hair care
Add a maximum of 1% Blue Tansy Essential Oil to your favorite (DIY) shampoo or conditioner. Or make your own hair serum by mixing Blue Tansy with a carrier oil, such as Argan oil. Massage the mixture into your scalp and hair. Leave on for at least 30 minutes before washing it out.
