Rose geranium is a beautiful flower with a wonderfully rosy scent, which makes this essential oil ideal as a relaxant. The shrub is also called lemon geranium because the flowers have both the sultry scent of roses and the freshness of lemon. Thanks to this fantastic combination, the oil has a reassuring and invigorating effect, making it a nice scent to breathe in when depressed or anxious.

Rose geranium oil has a skin-repairing effect and can be used to reduce pimples and soothe troubled skin. In addition, rose geranium has a healing effect on scars and minor burns. If you quickly get irritated skin from shaving or epilating, the rose geranium essential oil has a caring effect and helps the skin recover.

Usage

Dilute essential oil when using it on your skin always in a carrier oil or butter, such as almond or jojoba oil, and use no more than 1 - 2% (1 - 2ml of essential oil per 100ml of carrier oil).

Apply the oil to cleansed skin where necessary. For use on oily scalps and hair (or just because it smells great), you can also add a few drops of rose geranium essential oil to your shampoo.

To inhale the essential oil or when using it as an air freshener, use it in an oil lamp/diffuser or a fragrance cube. To use the essential oil in the bath, mix a few drops of rose geranium oil with a neutral bath gel or bath oil.
