Peppermint Essential Oil (Mentha Arvensis)

The high menthol content of the Peppermint oil has a cooling and refreshing effect, making it an ideal ingredient in your DIY toothpaste - and of course it gives a nice taste!
After exercise, it is also wonderful to apply oil with a few drops of peppermint oil diluted with a carrier oil to your tired muscles. The peppermint improves blood circulation and reduces tension.
Usage and tips
Always mix essential oil into a carrier oil, such as olive oil, almond oil or jojoba oil. Use about 1 - 2% essential oil in your products (so 1 - 2 grams of peppermint oil per 100 grams of almond oil for example). Peppermint oil can be quite strong so make sure you dose it well.
Peppermint oil goes well together with basil, bergamot, cajeput, cEder wood, eucalyptus, lemon, lime, mandarin, marjolein, nYaouli, This, rOzemarin and thyme essential oil.
