What is Collodial Oat Powder?

Collodial Oats (avena sativa kernel flower) are one of the healthiest grains on our planet and are packed with nutrients that are good for the body. With Collodial Oat Powder you can make the finest DIY care products for your skin.

Benefits

Cleanses blemished skin

Collodial Oat Powder is rich in minerals and vitamins. For example, a small handful of Oat Powder already contains 200% of the daily recommended amount of manganese and the powder is rich in phosphorus, magnesium, copper, iron and zinc. Add to that a rich amount of vitamins B1, B9 and B12 and you have one of the most nutritious grains on earth on your plate. In addition, oats are rich in beta-glucans: fibers that dissolve in water and lubricate your intestines like a kind of gel. This gel is good for healthy cholesterol levels, blood sugar levels, and the growth of healthy gut bacteria.

Soothes rough and chapped skin

Oats contain several types of antioxidants, including the antioxidant avenanthramide, which is unique to oats. This antioxidant supports healthy blood pressure and circulation and activates the body's self-healing ability.

Hydrates the skin

Oats can soothe dry, red and sensitive skin and support the skin's self-healing ability. Oat Powder contains fats, proteins and carbohydrates that deeply hydrate the skin.

Our colloidal oat powder is also called oat silk because of its silky texture and feel on the skin. The powder has a micro size of 50 microns and is therefore great to use in creams and lotions. In addition, the powder contains 7% lipids and 12% proteins that soften and strengthen the skin.

How do you use it?

Use Oat Powder as a substitute for wheat flour in your favorite baked goods, mix a scoop into your smoothie or use it in DIY care products.

Collodial Oat Powder works at a pH between the 3,0-8,0
