Manuka Essential Olie
Manuka - the secret of the Maori
The original inhabitants of New Zealand, the Maori, already use the manuka bush
for centuries. The essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the branches, leaves and flowers of the manuka bush, leaving the mother bush intact.
Manuka oil has a strong purifying effect. Recent research has shown that manuka essential oil is up to 33 times stronger than tea tree essential oil, so it can support your skin well with, for example, excessive sebum production and impurities, for an even skin.
Usage
To take full advantage of the great properties of this essential oil, dissolve 1 to 2% of the manuka essential oil in a carrier oil. Applying essential oil directly to the skin without dilution is not recommended. In addition, essential oils evaporate quickly and dry out the skin very much if they are not dissolved in a carrier oil, which also reduces the effect.
For example, add 1 to 2 ml of manuka essential oil to 100 ml of jojoba oil and massage it into your cleansed skin in the morning and evening where necessary.
To support the scalp, you can also add a few drops to your shampoo.
