Rose Water (Hydrosol) - Organic
More about rose water
Rose water has been used for centuries for its good properties and is
its origins back in ancient Persia. Traditionally, it was used to improve digestion and as aromatherapy.
The water, which is a by-product of the production of rose essential oil, has a deeply moisturizing effect on the upper layers of the skin, soothes and strengthens your skin. It helps restore the natural balance of sebum production, making rose water a wonderful toner for oily skin and blemishes. Due to its strengthening and toning properties, it also helps to refine pores and smooth the skin.
Usage
Because of the fine scent, because it is incredibly mild and to let your skin take full advantage of this wonderful water, rose water is best used pure on your skin. Always test it on a small area of skin to be sure if you have very sensitive skin. Use it for example after cleansing as a toner, as a moisturizing spray on face and body or in your hair. Of course, you can also use rose water in DIY lotions, masks, soap, or shampoo instead of plain water. Tip: mix a little bit for extra hydration glycerine through the rose water to retain extra moisture on the skin.
