What is Orange Blossom?

Orange blossom comes from the blossom of the bitter orange tree, the Citrus Aurantium. These dried Orange blossom leaves are 100% natural, without additives. The scent is citrusy, slightly sweet, floral and warm. Because of its scent, Orange Blossom is an ingredient that can be found in many perfumes. The scent of Orange Blossom gives an energy boost, but also has a calming, relaxing effect.

What is so special about Orange Blossom?

A long time ago, the bitter orange came from a long way. This orange fruit is originally from China and became known in the Netherlands in the 17th century as the Chinaas apple. The royal Oranges had many of these beautiful orange trees in their palace gardens. In the summer they bloomed in abundance, and in the winter they were placed in warm greenhouses (orangeries). The bitter oranges were also called the apples of Orange. The Orange Blossom has not lost its royal status to this day.
