Moringa Oil (Cold Pressed & Unrefined)
What is Moringa Oil?
Moringa Oil is cold-pressed from the seeds of the Moringa oleifera tree, a small tree that is native to northern India but is now grown all over the world. Because of its medicinal properties, Moringa Oil has long been an important ingredient in Ayurveda, the traditional Indian way of life and medicine.
Please note: Moringa Oil has the property of solidifying below 20 degrees. This does not affect the quality. You can liquefy the oil again by putting the bottle on the heater for a while or holding it under the warm tap/placing it in a bowl of warm water.
Benefits
Vitamins
Moringa contains more than 90 different nutrients and 46 antioxidants. The oil is rich in B vitamins and contains a large portion of vitamins C and A. The minerals iron, magnesium and zinc can also be found in this oil. Because Moringa Oil is so easily absorbed by the skin, the nutrients immediately absorb deep and the oil gives your skin a big boost. The result? A healthy skin that glows!
Moisturizing
Already in ancient Egypt, Moringa Oil was used to protect the skin from the desert: dust, sand and dryness. Not surprising, because Moringa Oil is incredibly moisturizing and can help maintain the skin's natural moisture levels. The oil has a soothing and caring effect on dry skin, lips and hair without leaving a greasy layer.
Anti-aging of the skin
Moringa Oil is rich in cytokinins, including zeatin, one of the most powerful plant hormones. Zeatin stimulates the production of skin cells and can slow down the aging process of the skin by nourishing the cell tissue. The oil protects your skin from aging, keeps the skin firm and elastic and helps to slow down the formation of wrinkles. This will give you a youthful appearance again.
Fantastic for your hair
Moringa Oil is a fantastic conditioner for your hair. The oil helps keep your hair strong and healthy. After washing, massage a little oil onto your scalp and through damp hair, leave on for an hour and your hair will regain shine, softness and bounce. Do this regularly to slow down the development of split ends.
Long shelf life
Moringa Oil is bursting with antioxidants that ensure that the oil has a long shelf life and does not go rancid quickly.
Smell
Moringa oil has a rather strong, characteristic and nutty earthy smell
What is so special about Moringa Oil?
According to some, the Moringa tree is the most nutrient-rich plant on Earth. The tree is therefore sometimes called the 'miracle tree'. A little bit of Morgina oil can do wonders for skin and hair.
