By making tea from the dried flowers, you can also benefit from these properties. It can be a bit strong to drink pure, it is advisable to mix the lavender with other herbs. You can also brew an extra strong tea from pure lavender to use as skin care (in a spray, for example), or pour it over your scalp and hair.

To make your own lavender oil, you can soak the flowers in a plant oil of your choice. A neutral-smelling oil is the best choice, so that the lavender scent comes out well. Grind the dried flowers a little so that the extracts can be released well. Then put the desired amount of lavender (the more the stronger) in a clean and dry glass jar and pour the plant oil over it. Let the oil-lavender mix steep for at least 48 hours, the longer the better. You get the best results at 3 weeks. Then drain the oil through a sieve into a clean and dry glass bottle or jar, and you have your own oil with lavender extract.
