What is Carrot Seed?

Carrot seed oil is naturally extracted from the seeds of the wild carrot. These seeds grow in the white flowers. The wild carrot is white in color and is somewhat smaller than the well-known orange thick carrot that you often see in the supermarket. These carrots are also found in the Netherlands and Belgium, but originally the carrot comes from the Mediterranean region. It is therefore not surprising that our carrot seed essential oil is made in France.

How to use Carrot Seed Essential Oil?

Never use more than 1 - 2% essential oil and always dilute it in a carrier oil or butter. So, for example, 1 to 2 ml of carrot seed essential oil in 100 ml of almond oil or shea butter. Apply the oil as a massage or skin oil where necessary to cleansed skin. It has a deeply relaxing effect on the muscles, making this essential oil ideal as an addition to your massage oil. Furthermore, this special carrot seed essential oil contains vitamin A, which means it can offer many benefits for mature skin.

You can also mix a few drops into your shampoo for a wonderful scent and nourished scalp!

It is also common to evaporate a few drops of the woody, earthy sweet, and essential oil in a diffuser for an uplifting and brightening feeling.
