What is Propolis Tincture?

In addition to honey and bee pollen, bees also make a substance called propolis. Bees make propolis by mixing their own saliva and beeswax with the sap of coniferous trees. This creates the sticky substance called propolis, which is used by bees to lubricate the hive inside and out. Very clever, because propolis is full of antioxidants and helps to protect the hive from harmful external influences. And that is exactly what propolis can do for people as well: propolis promotes the immune system and the body's regenerative capacity.

Benefits

Promotes the immune system

Propolis contains a whole range of minerals, amino acids and antioxidants, making propolis play a major role in physical and emotional recovery. The tincture can help you get back on your feet after a difficult period and boost your immune system. Especially in winter, the tincture is indispensable to protect yourself against unexpected winter ailments.

Good for the skin

Because propolis activates the skin's regenerative ability and contains many minerals and other nutrients, it is a wonderful ingredient to add to your DIY care products. Especially red and chapped skin or facial skin that quickly suffers from pimples can benefit from the nourishing and protective effect of propolis. In addition, propolis has a beneficial effect on recovery after sunburn and on cell renewal, so that the tincture also acts as an anti-ager.

How do you use it?

For your immune system

Drink a glass of lukewarm water with 4 to 5 drops of Propolis Tincture twice a day. Or add a few drops to a drink or salad dressing. Do not exceed recommended dosage.

What is so special about it?

How special is it that propolis is made entirely by bees? And that we can also use it a little to support our health? They thought so thousands of years ago, when propolis was already used by the Greeks and Mesopotamians for all kinds of healing purposes and the Egyptians used it to embalm mummies. In fact, the Egyptians considered propolis to be a sacred remedy

Please note: some people are allergic to propolis, so test in advance on a small piece of skin if you can handle it. Are you allergic to bees (venom)? Then propolis is probably not suitable. Do you have very sensitive skin? Then be extra careful.
