Japanese Camellia Oil (Organic & Cold Pressed)
What is Japanese Camellia Oil?
Japanese Camellia Oil, also known as Tsubaki Oil or Tea Seed Oil, is rich in plant collagen, hydrates deep into the skin and is a rich care product for your hair.
This oil is cold-pressed from the seeds of the Yabu-Tsubaki plant (Camellia Japonica), family of the tea tree plant. The oil has a golden yellow color, feels light and has many uses.
Benefits
During pregnancy
Camellia Oil is rich in plant collagen, which moisturizes the skin, makes it soft and supple. Camellia Oil is therefore very nice to rub your body with during pregnancy, when the skin comes under tension and can feel tight.
Powerful anti-aging properties
Thanks to its high content of plant collagen, the oil is also a wonderful anti-ager. The oil keeps the skin supple, contributes to the production of elastin and activates the skin's self-healing ability in case of dryness, sunburn and aging.
Hydrates deep into the skin
Japanese Camellia Oil quickly penetrates deep into the skin, where it nourishes and moisturizes. This leads to supple, firm and radiant skin. The oil is suitable for all skin types, including oily skin, because the oil does its job without clogging the pores.
Make your hair shine
The beautifully shiny hair that the Japanese are known for is partly due to this rich, nourishing oil. For centuries, Camellia Oil has been used as a hair product, both as a care and to style the hair. The oil makes the hair soft and manageable, moisturizes, protects and restores. In addition, the oil cares for the dry scalp.
How do you use it?
In the hair
Massage a few drops of the oil into towel-dried hair and scalp for nourishment, hydration, protection and shine. Pay extra attention to the dots.
For an extra rich treatment, you can massage your hair with the oil before washing. Then cover your hair with a shower cap and leave it on for about 30 minutes. Then wash your hair as you always do.
For the face
Rub a few drops of the oil warm between your hands and massage onto cleansed skin. Make slow, circular movements. If necessary, put an extra drop on wrinkles, fine lines or scars.
On the body
After showering, lubricate your skin with a small amount of the oil. Massage the skin until the oil is absorbed. You can do this both in the morning and in the evening.
What is so special about it?
Japanese Camellia Oil is a rich source of plant collagen, omega fatty acids and antioxidants. In combination with the property that the oil absorbs quickly, this makes Camellia Oil a wonderful moisturizing oil for the whole body. Tip: also massage your nails and cuticles with this rich oil.
