What is IHA Kantaşı?

These are disposable blood stoppers in the form of matches, made from aluin (potassium alum).

Function: They are used to immediately seal small cuts or bleeding spots ("nicks and cuts").
Hygiene Because they are "single use" (disposable) sticks, they are much more hygienic than a traditional alum block that you use multiple times. This is the reason why professional barbers in the Netherlands are required to use them; a new stick is used for each customer.
Packaging: The box contains 24 booklets, and each booklet has 20 sticks. That amounts to 480 treatments per box.

How do you use it?

When you accidentally cut yourself with one of the Derby blades.

Tear a strip from the booklet.
