What is GreenFoam powder?

GreenFoam powder belongs to the anionic surfactants, also known as surfactants. This means that GreenFoam powder is a washing active substance, so it easily loosens sebum, dead skin cells, sweat and other dirt. This makes it ideal for normal to oily hair, or oily skin. GreenFoam powder is also sulfate-free and biodegradable. The official name of GreenFoam is C14-C16 Olefin Sulfonate.

How is GreenFoam made?

The official name of GreenFoam is: Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate. It is made from the C14 and C16 long fatty acid chains of coconut oil. These fatty acid chains are then processed by sulfonation into powder. Fun fact: MCT Oil is also derived from coconut oil, but from the medium fatty acid chains C8-C10.

GreenFoam powder can be used alone or together with other surfactants and you can use it to make the most beautiful Shampoo Bars, Face Bars or Body Wash Bars. But you can also make liquid shampoos and shower gels with it. A super versatile product!
