What is Cognac Essential Oil?

Cognac Essential Oil has long been used as an ingredient in luxury perfumes. The tart, earthy aroma of the oil makes light, sweet scents stand out even more, so you can make your own 'high end' perfume.

The essential oil of Cognac (Vitis Vinifera) is steam distilled from the lees, or sediment left behind in winemaking. The oil is therefore a by-product of the wine product and is also called 'wine yeast oil'.
