Cajeput oil is extracted from the leaves and twigs of the cajeput tree,
is a plant species that mainly occurs in Southeast Asia and northern Australia. The oil has been known for centuries for its healing effect on muscle pain, which makes cajeput perfect to use in a sports massage oil. Cajeput oil also has a relieving effect on joint and nerve pain. This is due to the slightly anesthetic effect of the oil.

In addition, the oil, like many essential oils, has a purifying effect on the skin and can be used for oily skin, pimples and blemishes. The oil gives a strong feeling of inner purity. Usage
Dilute essential oil when using it on your skin always in a carrier oil or butter, such as almond or jojoba oil, and use no more than 1 - 2% (1 - 2ml of essential oil per 100ml of carrier oil).
Apply the oil to cleansed skin where necessary. For use on oily scalps and hair (or just because it smells great) you can also add a few drops of cajeput essential oil to your shampoo.
To inhale the essential oil or when using it as an air freshener, use it in an oil lamp/diffuser or a fragrance cube. To use the essential oil in the bath (and that is very nice), mix a few drops of cajeput oil with a neutral bath gel or bath oil.
