STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE: New BIAB kit
(Steps may vary slightly by brand, but this is the most commonly used professional method)
Step 1 – Mini manicure
File the nails into shape, gently push back the cuticles and remove the membrane.
Step 2 – Degreasing
Degrease the nail plate with a cleaner or scrubfresh.
Step 3 – Primer
Apply primer and let air dry.
Step 4 – Extend if necessary
Place a template or tip to extend the free edge (max. 1/3 of the nail plate).
Step 5 – Building the extension
Apply a thin layer of building gel to the free edge.
Step 6 – Curing (10 sec)
Step 7 – Thin layer of ironing
Apply a very thin layer of BIAB, but do not allow it to harden yet.
Step 8 – Drip Technique
Place a drop at the top of the nail and let the product level down.
Step 9 – Curing (30 sec)
Step 10 – Remove template + re-cure (60 sec)
Step 11 – Cleaning + filing
Clean with alcohol, file the shape and buffer for a smooth surface.
Step 12 – Color & Topcoat
